How do I measure for a dress shirt?

Fit matters on a dress shirt. Here's how to get the best fit.

Collar Size
Measure around the base of your neck where your shirt collar sits comfortably. Don't choke yourself out. You want to be able to move your head side to side. You should be able to slide in two fingers when closed to make sure you’ve got it right.

Sleeve Length
Start the measurement at the top (peak) of your shoulder and extend it down your arm, past the elbow down to your wrist bone (or wherever you want your cuff to sit. This is your sleeve length. You will want to round up to the nearest half an inch.
