To measure your waist, use a tape measure where your pants will sit (roughly right above your hips). Make sure the tape measure is comfortable and not too tight. There is usually enough fabric in the pants for a tailor to let the waist out up to 2 inches. Most pants can be taken in up to 4 inches without hindering the look of the pants.
We recommend taking your inseam measurement with shoes. The inseam is the length of the pants from the crotch to the ankle. However, some people prefer their pants longer and others prefer them shorter. Common inseam lengths for men are 30, 32, and 34. Unless otherwise stated in the description, all our suit pants are unhemmed. The unhemmed length of the pants is about 38-39 inches.
Once you have those measurements, be sure to check out our size estimator to get your suit size.
